Business Rebates

Program Highlights:

• Incentives are based on verified energy (kWh), peak demand (kW), or other applicable project-specific calculations, depending on the project type.
• Total rebates are limited to the lesser of 50% of eligible project costs or the approved incentive amount.
• Customers may receive up to $150,000 per year per customer, subject to program availability.
• All projects require MID pre-approval prior to equipment purchase and installation.
• Rebates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, pending available funds.
• MID reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, or discontinue any program, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Qualifying equipment must be installed and operated at facilities served by MID.
• Projects must exceed applicable local, state, and federal efficiency standards.
• Replacement equipment must remain in operation for a minimum of five years.
• MID reserves the right to inspect, audit, and verify installed equipment, documentation, and operational status to ensure compliance with program requirements.
